Gain the Edutizing Edge: Give Buyers and Sellers what they really value
With all of the available content on the internet, why do people still choose to have a REALTOR®? The answer is true real estate market expertise.
Marilyn Wilson of the WAV Group made a plea to the REALTOR® community a few weeks ago; stop advertising and start “EDUtising.” Draw in people to engage in relevant dialog rather than rattling off your skill set. You can provide them with loan information, talk about the best ways to stage a home, or give them current market statistics for their neighborhood.
REALTORS® in California now have an opportunity to learn first hand how to “Gain the Edutizing Edge: How to build your business by giving today’s buyers and sellers what they really value–local market insight!” at a pre-Inman Real Estate Connect session in San Francisco on Tuesday, August 4th.
One featured guest speaker will be Vice President and Chief Economist for the California Association of REALTORS® Leslie Appleton-Young. Appleton-Young will lead the first session entitled, “EDUTIZING – Growing your Business by Positioning Yourself as an Expert in Your Local Marketplace.” Two more sessions will follow including “Telling Your Online Story” and “Using Mobile to Position Yourself as an Expert.”
Stay around for the networking cocktail reception and discuss your thoughts about the day with fellow “edutizers.” Members of C.A.R. get a discounted rate of $59 for the special session and $329 for the session along with Inman’s conference. More information and pricing for non-members is available at the registration site: http://www.car.org/tools/330771/
